In comes a visitor!! At last the garden is looking a LITTLE more “normal”!!

The builders (the most excellent S and R Downton Ltd Building Contractors) have removed all the remains of the alterations and the right side as seen has been dug over to loosen up the compacted earth – it will be left over winter to then be sown with a wildflower mix to – hopefully – see more and more of the bees and other flying things we have seen up til now in the summer.

The birds are loving the overturned soil today!!!
